Cort joined The Pickler Law Firm on November 10, 2014 as an Associate Attorney. After two years of practice, he took on the role of General Counsel in January of 2017. As General Counsel, Cort ensures that The Pickler Law Firm maintains a high level of ethical and disciplined service to its clients. Providing strategic legal advice to management and establishing internal processes and policies to facilitate smooth operations and attentive care to our clients are his top priorities.

A Shelby County native, he was born and raised in Memphis and now calls Collierville home. Cort graduated from Rhodes College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After a 10-year career in telecommunications, Cort began studying at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2005 and graduated Cum Laude in 2008.
